It would be a sin to let you go
Without showing you the world by my hand
A sin, to hold you in my arms
And for a moment, feel that you’re forever mine
Only to later, slowly let you go
What a sin it would be to enjoy your happiness
Your eyes as they look in mine
What a sin to abuse of your love and walk away
Horrible sin, to kiss your lips or caress your skin
Terrible sin to be unfaithful
I cannot love you if not forever
I cannot love you and let you go
Great sin to conquer your heart and love you so
If after I’m to let you go
I mustn’t seduce you further
Too much I have made you hurt
And if I were to confuse you
That sin, would be the worst
