With every rising sun
to God I pray,
to give me a drop of luck.
And with every setting sun
I wish and pray
that tomorrow be my lucky day.
Asleep,then I fall
saying, "Adieu today."

But God kept on giving me
another new day
and I kept on waiting
for my lucky day.

or rather a thought
came to me saying,
"Here you are stuck
waiting for your luck.
To get miracles
get down on your knees.
But to be lucky, sonny,
make good use of today
and then pray,
for 'Help Me to help you'
is what God says."
