WHY AM I LEFT ALONE?

Author: Anisha Gupta

Poem:
WHY AM I LEFT ALONE?

  Why am I left alone?
Just because I am different!
Different- because I can’t make any difference?
Why am I left alone?
Just because I am inferior!
Inferior- because I am of low caste?
Why am I left alone?
Just because I look rural?
Rural- because I am poor?
Why am I left alone?
None has ever answered me…………

A CHOICE

Author: Peter Holey

Poem: A CHOICE

Before me I have but a simple choice,
yet it seems I have no voice.
A decision lingers in my mind,
vague, distant, hard to find.
Maybe it is time for a change,
the life I know all rearranged.
Could this be the best for me,
with every decision does there come a fee?
I made my choice yet I wonder why,
like Robert frost,"I took the road less travled by."
Sometimes in life you have a choice to make,
to figure out which road to take.
