We are surrounded by corruption, greed, and villainous acts
But here are the plain and simple facts
It’s as if the suffering and pain was never there
Unless our loved ones the evil does not spare
It’s only if we lose someone close
That we even feel remotely morose
Or have any kind of care at all
Because the deeper into sin
That man falls
The more accustomed we grow to this wickedness
The more our world becomes devoid of emotion
Never feeling a hint of sadness
At such devastation
It is disheartening to think of this truth
Especially as we evolve past our innocent youth
Our society is poisoned by the evil one
But we can only hope this corruption will be undone
