Blue sky above the market square,
where stall after stall stands to prepare.
Within the morning atmosphere,
cool and damp with trade so near.
Not to love sleep and become so poor,
but stay awake and find much more.
From friendly assistants Mandy and Co.,
there to assist as the day does grow.
Fruit unloaded from the cart,
onto the stall to support the art.
Orange, yellow, green and red,
variety of colour and blue to embed.
A fresh aroma in the air,
catching the cool and colourful stare.
Of fruit upon a standing stall,
there to attract with aid of a call.
"Bananas, Oranges, Grapefruits too,
Apples, Pineapples all for you.
Grapes and Strawberries present also,
Apricots, Peaches, you can't say no!"
Fruit to attract as customers come,
aided by the aroma upon.
Business hours well in hand,
sold from the stall is fruit from the land.
Supplies on show begin to get low,
as special offers are shown also.
"It's no good, no good," says a buyer,
then off he goes to boast of his supplier.
Where small is the gate, narrow the road,
yet found by so many to sell the load.
Recognised by their fruit on stall,
too good to even miss a call.
