Two Poems from our Inspirational Poems, Motivational Poetry Collection

Thoughts of You

Author: Jean Fulford

Poem:
Thoughts of You

  We gaze at the stars.
Imaginary ones will do.
What ever it takes just to be with you.
Wrapped in your arms
our heartbeats combine.
So close togeather our
souls intertwine.
Togeather all night as one.
That night may be over,
but we've just begun.
My love for you grows
with each passing day.
I never thought it possible
to love this way.
The dreaded day has come
to say goodbye.
But our love will last
it is obvios why.
Our love is so strong.
It will stay through the years.
It will shine in the laughter,
and brave through the tears.
It will live through all
the good and bad.
And remind us each day
of the blessings we had.
You are gone now
But remain in my soul,
left with thoughts of you
my heart remains whole.

I Still Remember....

Author: Sagun Maini

Poem: I Still Remember....

"I still remember the time when I first met you,
IT was just that
I did not want to blink my eye,
all were present but
nobody could I see except you.
The hour was unexplainable
but still unrefrainable.
such was the time when I first met you".

"My vision went bad,
my spectacles felt like binoculars,
but still I could clearly see you.
I felt weightless just as a bird featherless
such was the time when I first saw you".

But I regret to pay a price
with which I could buy a bowl full of rice
for seeing you in the blink of an eye.
"Without a notice I stepped into the dustbin,
full of dirty polythin and foul smelling pumpkin.
Such was the price that I paid
when I first met you.
That is why I still remember
and 'Thank GOD' that I only met you".
