His voice is a whisper, soft but clear.
He shines from up above.
We feel his presence growing near.
He longs to feel our love.
We close our eyes and block him out,
Filling our heads with other things.
We need him badly, without a doubt.
He would make our hearts start to sing.
We go on with our lives, as we normally do,
Yet when we lay our heads.
We hear a voice calm and true,
But we try to just forget.
Non chalantly, we pretend we hear nothing,
But ignoring this sound is not wise.
For if we don't admit that we hear something,
We'll all pay a terrible price.
