I can see the moon

shining so bright

outside my window

it lets in the light

the stars are all shining

a beautiful night

a gentle breeze blows

not a cloud in sight

the wolves are all howling

I know its alright

the wolves are the guardians

of the soft autumn night

so I close my eyes

and keep them shut tight

and listen to the wolves howl

their song to the night

I step out my door

I feel the wind bite

the time has now come

for my mind to take flight.
