Today, from a distance, I saw you,
strutting your stuff while walking away;
with out a sound or warning you held another girls hand and kissed her softly like you did me once.
my heart sank like I was stepping into quick sand, holding my tears back,
I glanced to the left looking upon a few young boys chatting to a group of girls.
Quickly I glanced into the starry, clear midnight sky, witnessing a shooting star hoping and wishing
that one day you see the mistake you made.
