Its last day

Wood chips flew
black smoke rolled out
It sounded like a train roaring at you
It seemed as if the train was
knocking on your front door.

As the Morbark 1200 tub grinder
Demolished the wood
as if it were a twig
But they were stumps
The huge hammer mill chews through
the massive chunks of wood
Eating a whole stump in seconds
The monster machine
will take solid wood
and make it mulch
About 100 yards a hour
The big caterpillar 3412
demolishes wood all day
chugging at 2100 rpm




It worked its last day this week
As it was grinding away
it went up in flames
And the fire trucks didn’t
Come in time
