FATE

Author: Bai Maleiha Candao

Poem:
FATE

  Never have I imagined
Finding love on net
Was aloof and untrusting
To every man I met
Fearful of taking chances
Cautious of making mistakes
But when Mohammad found me
I realized I met my fate..

It is love on the net
But it hits us so great
The feeling grows inside us
Passion at its best

Change they say
The only thing that stays
But I am ready for tomorrow
No matter what it sows

True love has to take chances
True love has to fight its means
Never fearing nor avoiding
what the future awaits

For it is better to have loved
than never to have loved at all
this is a saying that blends
all races and minds
From life's all points

Love is not selective
Neither it is pessimistic
It cultivates optimism
For that is where it lies
Love is hope in darkness
The light above our heads

If I met my fate
I welcome with embrace..

DAISY

Author: Lee Emmett

Poem: DAISY

Daisy it’s easy to tease you today
with hay and lavenders smelling so sweetly
see by the tree, white warlock is trembling
scared by our happiness, he’s lost his way
you’ve got the key to my heart and mind, girl
turn it once, slowly, and treasures you’ll see
heap upon heap of warm love for your brown eyes
and tenderness plenty to comfort you always
tears to wash slowly over your pains, dear
strong arms to hold through life’s buffeting waves

(first draft 14.05.01)
