Where are you when I dream,
Searching the night, blind eyes
Find how deep the dark is,
Where all laws are banished
But one: to be
Touched by a hand bound by honor,
To free and let rise the purest desire
Where are you when I dream,
Landscapes shift and rise, unlocking
Inner chambers, doors open to a wind,
A candle flame wildly denies
The walls, the floor brightens to an edge;
The sky is face-down over a maze,
And am dangerously close to waking
