Two Poems from our Mother, mom, mommy Poetry Collection

Voice

Author: Lizeth Pecho

Poem:
Voice

  Everyone has different voices
Some voices are soft
Soft as tissues
Some voices are loud
Loud as using a microphone

My Stepfather's voice is loud
Loud as a kids yelling
I could hear his voice
From 100 miles away

My Mother's voice is soft
Soft that I can hardly hear her when she speaks
When she is mad
Her voice gets loud as a tiger roaring
It makes me want to divert to my room
Not come out until she is calm

When she is happy
Her voice sounds happy with enthusiasm
I like it when her voice is happy
Once she starts talking
She will never stop talking
She will talk about anything
Games, sports, clothes and more stuff that interests her

When she sings
Her voice is soft and loud
Both at the same time
She sings so beautiful
Beautiful as a kid having a smile on his face

My moms hair's

Author: Alexander Fazelani

Poem: My moms hair's

I remember the time

I was sick and she sat beside me

her hair running like silky cloth

She holds me

Her body heat keeping me warm like a woolen blanket

Her hair is puffy as pillows

I felt safe in her arms like a a brick wall

Between me and all my fear

She told me that I would be better before I now it

I felt better already

Her words where always the thing to get me back in focuses

No matter where I was no matter what I was doing

Her and her hair was there for me all the time

Her hair is like drown cheese doodles

Makes me hungry just looking at it

I love the fuzzy feeling of it when I run my hands throw it

Feels like my moms her is made of yarn

My moms hair is the best

I will never forget what she does for me.
