Two Poems from our Mother, mom, mommy Poetry Collection

WHEN MAMA CRIED

Author: Laily novianti Dwi dasarini

Poem:
WHEN MAMA CRIED

  I believe when mama cried
Tears were crystal that streamed down
From heaven through her eyes
That spoke for her voiceless lips
That smile for her bliss

I imagine when mama cried
Tears were her ending scenes
As a victory in her battlefield
The quietness was stolen from the night
On the first day I saw the light

I remember when mama cried
Tears that came with the wound
Of a disappointed heart
Yet the forgiveness has shown
That love was taking part

I want to see my mama cry
This time without pain and anguish
Shed tears from the angel eyes
As her words that speak up loud
About daughter that makes her proud

We are so lucky

Author: Amanda Brogdon

Poem: We are so lucky

Why do you do me like this?
One day you’re screaming, one day you’re gleaming.
One day you love me.
One day you hate me.
You want to kill me, then you want to heal me.
You make me so glad, other days you make me sad.
You give me gifts, then you take them away.
Some days you make my world gray.
Some days you have nothing to say.
You confuse me.
Abuse me.
Love me.
Hate me.
Is this love faking me?
Is it taking me?
You treat me so ungratefully.
You act lovey dovey.
You treat me like you are above me.
All I want is you to love me, each and every day.
All you have to say is "I love you".
And your true feelings will show through.
We love each other we hate each other.
We are so lucky to have each other.
