Two Poems from our Mother, mom, mommy Poetry Collection

That forever place

Author: Sarah Evans

Poem:
That forever place

I sit here in that fatefull place,
U can see the pain across my face
U left me with my eternal fate.
once you were gone i was all alone,
in this place i call a home.
Taken by a spirit,
a spirit inside of you.
Crushed by the pain and anger inside,
all i can do is run and hide,
looks like no one's on my side.
I sit and wait for that inpending date,
when ill see your loving face,
raining down on me from that place.
But now i must go and seal my fate,
walking up to the golden gate.

My god

Author: Lynn Price

Poem: My god

mum,if you were a religion, your church would always be full,
the world would be full of happiness, and no-one would ever feel dull.
there'd be no fighting in the world, and there'd definitely be no wars,
you would hug and embrace people and lead them through different doors.
doors that led to forgiveness, and were they could find there peace,
were a world of anger revenge and violence would all suddenly cease.
if you were a religion mum you would love everyone the same
no one would live a life of poverty illness or pain
you'd do everything in your power to make everyone feel at there best
if only you were a god mum the world would be truely blessed
when in times of solitude and people felt there was nowhere to go
when people felt there saddest and couldnt feel more low
its you they would turn to and pray and help they would ask of you
you would put them back on there feet and stand by them untill you'd seen them through
and when there sorrows had left them and there life felt back on track
you'd leave them feeling content with the knowing if they needed you again you'd always be right back
if you were a religion mum the world would be a better place
a world of beauty a world of peace a world full of grace
it would be quite interesting if god were to put you to the test cos like i said before mum the world would be truely blessed
