The Judge (Part II)

Author: Mary Shovlin

Poem:
The Judge (Part II)

I trembled standing before the judge
My crimes had caught me out ....
The court room was spacious, airy and bright
And there was something about the light ....
The one up before me had been let off
And the one before that too
I was hopeful the judge was lenient
I didn't know what to do ....
It was too late to show sorrow
The damage had been done
Remorseful, full of fear
What had brought me here?
I had broken the law
and must pay the price
Too soon it was my turn
Would I be forgiven or
would I burn?
The seat it was a Throne
for God's Glorious Son
Not confident in His Mercy
and I was not the only one ...
Jesus, Majestic, rose and spoke
"You are not forgiven ...."
- I shook with fright
"by what you do"
He continued
"You believed but were not certain,
I tell you true
My blood has saved you.
Behaviour does not condone
If you repent
and change your heart
Now before My Throne
I relent
and set you apart ...
Go with my sheep
To the right
Enter the Narrow Gate
Into Paradise ...."
Now I still trembled ...
but now I trembled with joy.
I had repented on earth
And this was enough
to win my salvation
Because of Jesus' birth
All around was love
which led to my eternal destination ...
Thank God!

An Alternative View of Creation or Why There Is Good and Evil

Author: Mary Shovlin

Poem: An Alternative View of Creation or Why There Is Good and Evil

An Alternative View to Creation or
Why There is Good and Evil

Forever there was only darkness
yet full of sentience
Then individual life formed
themselves into stars
And there was Light
But as these new-born forms grew
they became aware
not all their brothers and sisters
had the same views
some believed in good
and others in the opposite
which was called evil
and as the dark stars
gathered to impose their views
on thinking on the light stars
one courageous being
named Sting
asked in a loud voice
"Who will join me to fight the evil stars?"
And one very timid star
called Dawn
answered the call
and so they became Creator and Creatoress of good
and they called the light stars
and formed a plan
and all the human beings or life forms
that were ever to live on all worlds
were decided upon
and The Battle between Good and Evil began
in the midst of which was Creation
- the Universes and galaxies and planets

And so the stars took shape
and lived on planets
and the dark stars did the same

The Creators creating Gods in charge
for all individual planets
some Gods not knowing that they were created
and They having their own ways of salvation
to defeat evil
all beings subject
to The Law of Sentience

And Sting and Dawn
Lived and died countless times
moving from planet to planet
Saviors of The Worlds
conquering evil
and releasing the lost souls
until all evil was conquered
throughout all the worlds

the vanquished being shut up in prisons,
but not tortured
- with evolved powers the good created
these prisons so no evil would escape

until Sting and Dawn
came to Earth
in the last days of the 20th Century
The Trinity being True and The Bible
according to Their Beliefs
before They knew of the true tale of Creation
and The Creators having seen Jesus Christ's
Plan for Salvation
realised it was good
and Sting and Dawn
lived on Earth
as human beings
till they conquered
the last Evil

And fulfilling The Law
Sting and Dawn
the Creators of good
went to hell
and were burned up
body and soul
for an Eternity
which is but a split second
as The Sacrifice
to atone to The Law
for evil
so that Evil could be released
from their prisons
and sin no more
and all beings will live
together in Harmony
The War between Good and Evil
being over
and Sting and Dawn
The Gods and Saviors
were lauded and appreciated and loved
but not worshipped
all being equal
as it was in the beginning.
