HIV IN DISGUISE.

Author: Stephen Griffith

Poem:
HIV IN DISGUISE.

A trick or a treat, death on two feet often walks down the street.
Will you know him or her when in town you meet,
Looking glamorous sexy and sweet, a nice sleek body that makes your knees weak.
Most men’s first thought is Meat,Meat,Meat.
You act all deranged like a dog in heat.
You can only think about getting under the sheets.
Your brain starts to ramble, you get itchy feet,
You fall to temptation after your erection, and forgot your protection.
This senseless action brings a deadly reaction.
You have now open yourself to HIV contraction
You can run, but can't hide, the virus is now inside, To someone you must confide.
Who can you talk to when your friends have left your side?
What do you do when everyone talks about you?
What do you do when the whole world scorns you?
What do you do when you are victimized and ostracized,
What do you do??????????

A WOMANS POINT OF VIEW IN A SEA OF HIV

Author: Andrea Griffith

Poem: A WOMANS POINT OF VIEW IN A SEA OF HIV

You see me I see you
You look so sexy, what must I do?
I need a husband and family too.
You say you are negative, I must think positive.
I sincerely hope you are negative?
I am confused what should I do?
You said that last year you passed the test too.
I must believe you that this is true, but fear and reason has influence my conclusion.
You are negative you say,,, but look at it my way.
Negative today could be positive tomorrow.
This could bring me death after mush sorrow.
Fidelity is the door and honesty the key.
We must be faithful you and me.
If you sleep around our relationship no more will be.
You must desist from sleeping with anyone besides me.
To you my apprehensive lover my heart and body I give.
Please be mindful of your action so the we both may live.
Please see it from a womans point of view, in a sea of HIV/AIDS what must I do?
