"ETHEREAL LOVE "

Author: Nabin Chhetri

Poem:
"ETHEREAL LOVE "

  I deem this rapport ,
between you and me ,
was devised yore ,
beyond the threshold of eternity ,

Many centuries may have permeated ,
from the infinite pores of time ,
till then we met again ,
In this promised poetic clime ,

I want to thank ,
these moments ,
yes..these moments ,that abided ,
for prolix length ,

Just for the sake ,
of our rendezvous.

One Little Girl

Author: Maddy Wrable

Poem: One Little Girl

Icy cool raindrops slice down my face.
Leaving rivulets of water like salty tears.
The crisp scent of slender pine needles slyly wafts bye. Clouds, like freshly washed sheets billow about in soft twisting shapes,
As they float effortlessly away they soon turn into swirling froths of a dark infuriated storm rearing its strong yet beautiful head upon one quiet little city. Once past the twinkling sky, and through the burst of anger. I found one little girl, one life, staring in complete amazement at the world around her. Like a sharp knife a thunder shock sliced through the peaceful night air as a surge of power shot ignited her giving her lift. In a fluid motion she started to dance with the wind and the swirling pine needles, forever following the restless clouds. As sleep descended upon her she was lifted by the swirling wind away from her little town and placed upon a humble bed of clouds with a blanket of warm stars and cool moons to protect her. The sweet lullaby of Mother Nature lulled her to sleep allowed her heavy rain slicked eyelashes to swiftly close and welcome sweet dreams.
