Two Poems from our Nature Poetry Collection

Gnome's Knoll

Author: Erica Craig

Poem:
Gnome's Knoll

The smell of lilac somber sweet,
Estrange from the prints of feet,
Somewhere, out there my soul lies,
Among the lilies, and dragonflies,
Like the whimsical enchantment of a gnome's knoll,
Surely, the perfect oasis for my beguiled soul.

Sunrise

Author: Jungin Ahn

Poem: Sunrise

Sun rises with
Ugliness
Madness
Nobody knows nothing
Everyone knows something
The world is a make-believe
With fake trust to our eyes.

Sun rises by
fading the darkness away
Calmness
Perfection
Nobody knows anythnig
Anyone knows nothing
It brings out the
true self
There no pretend.

Tempts of the pretense
And the lights of forfeit
Broughts out with
The first morning light.

Good night,
My liking of darkness says
Good night,
The last piece of honesty in me says
Good night,
Sunrise.
