Life is For you a series of mirror equations, Staring tragically and mathematically back at You, systematic numbers and x and y variables, Against my deviations and insinuations and complications, your Anomaly.
So it was surprising When we worked out Nature by Fumbling and tumbling, peeling back clothes, Your fingers hibernating in my hair Against my mind’s sighs and cries, while you Explained why the sky was blue. |

NATURE'S AWAKENINGS |
| |
|
|
The thunder of The midnight storm, Rolls under clouds, And over winds. Scares all the little children Out of their beds. Lightning strikes The flooding ground. Flashes all across The blackened sky. Lights up the darkest Crack in the darkest room. Beating down on The roof above, The rain thuds like a Native war drum. Music to an ear Of a warrior, But brings terror To the eyes of the innocent.
