Two Poems from our Nature Poetry Collection

I long for your kiss

Author: Chase Hensley

Poem:
I long for your kiss

I sit out alone, on a hill as soft as clouds.
away from confusion, away from the anger, and all the pain that crowds.
and still I long for your kiss.
the water is calm with the reflection of the white full moon,
while I'm here in this beautiful state, all I think about is you.
and still I long for your kiss.
I reflect, as the moon in the water, sitting in a gentle breeze.
everything calm, nothing moves, but the quiet sway of the leaves.
and still I long for your kiss.
before I was so unpleased, my life a compelling tide.
but now everything is perfect, now that u are by my side.
and still I long for your kiss.

Reflections

Author: James Bradshaw iii

Poem: Reflections

Dancing Reflections
on the water
as I gaze upon
those hypnotizing patterns
slowly dissipating
always on my mind
driving me to a point
of tantalizing obsession.
Cheer up self,
for it will one day
rain again- but this time
I'll know to seize the moment.
