Journal is an email newsletter produced by VoicesNet.com that goes out once to twice per month to opt-in subscribers
to our mailing list. Subscribers receive the Journal
for free.
VoicesNet
Visions contains diverse writing topics, news and
information about VoicesNet.com. There is a focus
on poetry and writers and writing in general.
An
estimated 80% of the subscribers are from the United
States. One third of the readers are younger than 20; another third of the readers are in their twenties and the remaining third are 30 and older.
We

to online advertising? Most people wonder what the
term "CPM" is. CPM means cost per thousand.
To figure out the cost to advertise in a newsletter,
you take the cost per CPM (for example our Top spot
which is $11.50 cpm) and multiply that for each 1000
subscribers. For example: If a newsletter has 40,000
subscribers, you would take $11.50 x 40 for a total
of $460.00
Each
advertisement is a block of (plain) text, 70 characters
wide.
There
is a thin lined rectangle surrounding each ad and
the term ad is displayed so that our readers are aware
that they are reading a paid advertisement.

For a limited time, we are running a special
where advertisers also get their ads posted
on the article pages on our website for 12 months
(maybe longer). The article pages are where
newsletter subscribers are redirected to in
their email newsletter when they want to read
a complete article by one of our authors. The
article pages are standard HTML web pages and
are also visited from the web via search engines
and through links on our home page and from
other article pages. |

writing community.
VoicesNet
reserves the right to reject advertisers who offer
products or services that directly compete with those
offered by VoicesNet.
All
ad copy must be approved by VoicesNet.

Schedule
and Payment Terms
|
Ad
copy for a given newsletter must be received at least
a week before the publication date.
Advertising
fees must be received 10 days prior to the date of
publication.
