STILL SMALL VOICE

Author: Terri Baumann

Poem:
STILL SMALL VOICE

No matter who you are, no matter what you've done, the grace of God willcover you where your obediance has begun.
Just yeild yourself to him, fully in surrender, He'll meet you in a field of grace, your past no longer remembered.
It only takes your humble heart, it only takes your pleads,
Ask our savior to come in, ask him on your knees.
Then listen close and your will hear the answers that you seek,
That "still small voice" or he'll show you through the persons who are meek.
Open eyes and open hearts are all he ever asks,
Then tell our Lord your ready, give you his chosen task.
Accept the role He's given you and do not turn away,
He's knocking on your hearts door, answer to him today
It only takes your humble heart, it only takes your pleads,
Ask our savior to come in, ask him on your knees,
Then listen close and you will hear the answers that you seek, That "still small voice, or he'll show you through the persons who are meek

JESUS’ DEATH AND RESURRECTION

Author: Naomi O'shea

Poem: JESUS’ DEATH AND RESURRECTION

My Jesus Son of God,
Was nailed to a cross.
Blood streamed from his hands and feet,
As his life was lost.

Above his head was written,
“Jesus king of the Jews”.
But Peter denied three times,
That this was the man he knew.

Jesus cried for all to see,
“My God, My god, Why have you forsaken me?”
Now we know it was for our sins,
That this man died and became our king.

My Lord was buried in a tomb,
Wrapped in a pile of cloth.
A stone was rolled in front,
For us his life he lost.

On the third day he rose,
The stone was rolled away.
The tomb was empty,
Where the body had once lay.

Now Jesus is alive,
And in heaven he waits,
Because one day we will meet the one,
Who is so full of mercy and grace.
