MORE THAN PURE

Author: Aram Stefanian

Poem:
MORE THAN PURE

Beyond the threshold of the infinite night
There's a sanctuary for the harassed souls.
As soon as the angels give the green light,
You take it easy and stop climbing the walls.
After being placed under 40-day quarantine,
You are finally ready to stand before God,
Swimming in love, unconditional and pristine.
For entering heaven you hope to get the nod
And you throw yourself at His divine clemency.
Then you are told that you have to take the cure,
And if you kick the habits that are sinful and chancy,
You'll sit on the throne before Him, being more than pure.

Let There Be Light

Author: Vijaya Mehta

Poem: Let There Be Light

The World entire is in eclipse,
With the dense darkness of evil;
the gloominess of Hatred,
the dungeon of self despair,
the absence of any morality.
Every soul seems to cry:
Let There Be Light.

God, at the time of creation,
Engraved a message vital and significant
" Lighting up the World like the Sun
Your flame should burn incessant
with the feul of Love and Compassion!
Dispel Hatred and Selfishness-
Let There Always Be Light."

In times of crisis major,
When We are fully submerged
in oceans of Violence and Hatred,
God visits Earth in forms like ours
to bring back Joy and Happiness
and enlighten us with lights divine!
Let There Forever Be Light.
