Hold me in your arms, Dear Lord,
for I have fallen many times before.
I know not how to function alone,
so you watch down on me every day.
As day turns to night,
your angels sing and dance in my dreams.
Hold me in your arms, Dear Lord,
for you are the Holy One.
Only you can save me from all sin.
Whenever I feel my hopes and dreams are about to fade,
your angels are sent to help clear my mind.
Hold me in your arms, Dear Lord,
for you are the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
No matter what happens down the road;
No matter whom I shall meet;
You, Lord, will always be at the top of my list. |
