All myself
God you have never been with me,
In my sorrow and success,
I have been on my own,
Down and depleted when I was,
It was myself to whom I have prayed,
In the sand of time when I look back,
I see just my footprints,
No mark of your presence any where,
It is funny why people pray,
At last it is from themselves from where help would come,
When I have fallen down,
I myself have got up proud,
When success was there,
I have enjoyed as it was purely mine,
At times when down I asked you for help,
But you never helped me to success,
Though limping I have reached my aim,
Though crying I have never given up to faith,
I have created my own destiny,
I did all my ways,
I was all the way myself.
