BLOOD COLOURD RAIN

Author: Samantha Martin

Poem:
BLOOD COLOURD RAIN

As the Blood coloured Rain Fall I sit in this Small Room Drowning,
I watched each Drop of the Blood coloured Rain fall
all around me,
as it gets higher and deeper,
i wish this wasn't gonna be the last of me,
but this world i watch get father away from me,
as i slowly drown it is better this way,
for the world is a torches place i am glad to leave in so many ways
but also sad to leave in other ways,

As I watch the last few drops fall of Blood coloured Rain,
They go in Slow motion,
I think of all the people i met in my life,
And think,
My life is All messed up cuz of you,
you treated me like Crap,
As i treated you the best i could,
this is all cuz I'm different isn't it?
I think, say, do, act, dress, AM...Different,
you never noticed that inside I AM the same,
I'm just a lost little girl who needs a friend....a companion,
Needs someone to show that I am a Worthfull human,
rather then a Worthless human,
A Screw up,

But....It is to late the last drop of the Blood Coloured Rain Falls,
And the Last thought i had was...
Good I'm gone,
The last words i said to the world was...
LEARN FROM THIS,
LEARN FROM ME,
LEARN TO LOVE EVERYONE FOR WHO THEY ARE,
AND NOT FOR WHAT YOU SEE,
FOR EVERY TIME YOU GAZE UPON SOMEONE SO DIFFERENT,
YOU WILL SEE MY FACE...AND YOU WILL LEARN....
LOOK INSIDE NOT OUT...

IN THE DISTANCE

Author: Gabriella Argotti

Poem: IN THE DISTANCE

In The Distance

A laugh in the distance stirs me
from sleep.
A cry in the distance causes me
to weep.
First comes the wind then comes
the winter.
A last sunray on a dewdrop causes
it to glinter.
In the distance a memory, filled
with lost hope.
In the present a reality that’s
too hard to cope.
Where once stood you now stands
air.
Where in the distance once stood
us, now stands despair.
To an onlooker, it’s diminished.
But to the artist this painting’s
unfinished.
