Poem:
The black roses

A person now rests.

Hello

Author: Abby Clyndes

Poem: Hello

Hello?? Don’t leave me again.
Can’t see you, please come home.
I don’t want to die alone.
Be there won’t you
When I fall asleep.
I’d rather die now
Than then. When you’ve all gone away.
So stay won’t you.
Because I can’t hold my own hand.
Or tuck myself in.
We can hold our breaths together
And before the skies move
Crushing together over the earth
And the tides tear the cliffs down
And we fall a thousand feet.
As the globe collapses in millions of pieces
And cities are washed up on the shore.
Destruction rages in my own silence.
And all that’s left is my home
You’ll sit by my bedside.
Close my eyes hold my hand.
And won’t leave before I do.

Thank you…
