SET ME FREE

Author: Valentino Flores

Poem:
SET ME FREE

Don't grieve for me, now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call.
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, to laugh,
to love to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
ah, yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savored much.
Good friends, good times, a undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me.
God wanted me now, he set me free

HERE IN THE TRAGIC KINGDOM

Author: Graffitti Decorations

Poem: HERE IN THE TRAGIC KINGDOM

Her delicate wings are bent and fractured,
No longer can she fly,
now she’s lost the only thing that ever mattered.

All her dreams shattered.

Gave up fighting the shadows a long time ago,
But she still misses the light,
Cos here Its to dark for Her true self to grow.

She cannot let her magic show.

Her pretty face is not how it used to be,
Red from the tears she cries,
Hope has faded from her eyes and left them empty.

A fool cos she dared to believe.

Her legs are tired from chasing that rainbow,
with an end she’ll never find,
brought to a halt at the edge of the below.

So many things she longed to know.

it's hard to imagine the sun ever shone
Here in the Tragic Kingdom...
