Seen in the meadows
amidst the towering,
swaying pastures,
in a heaven that fell on earth
boundaries endlessly drawn,
had I seen her, a little girl.
The stare of her eyes,
so innocent, so narcotic.
The smile on her face,
so mischievous, so refreshing.
But why she refused
to come and hug me?
She answered, in a week voice.
"Lonely, I shall be left again,
hear to what I say,
and you will be running miles away."
"Should I depart from you,
let me depart from this world," I said.
"In the many defects
that God injected in poeple,
he was kind enough
to let me have only one.
The big one.
I have AIDS."
"I shall be your sister,
we shall spend time together
living a life far away
from the busy city
where people 'have' time,
but for themselves."
