My Lady In Black

Author: Alexandra Todorovic

Poem:
My Lady In Black

You are not alone my lady
You are not left in lost world, anymore
No my dear

When I hear your voice in my dreams
I hide all your secrets under my pain
When I feel your mourn
Im ready to be your sacrifice
No, you are not alone, My Lady In Black
Even if they poison you with their tender touch

My Lady In Black comes out of the darkness
I will save you from the fears
Just come to embrace you!
You are not alone, My Lady!

So many wounds has painted your heart
And yet you don't let my touch to cover all your sorrow
Your eyes are like a mirror
All your unspoken wishes are right here
Grieving for sins
Seeking from reality
Crying for love
But you are not the only one!

Out of your endless imaginary world
You entwine with nightmares
It seems you forgot our lullaby
All our words has shadows erase them
Dont walk away my sis!!
You will fall down in their diabolical hearts

My Lady In Black comes out of shadows
I will swallow all your hate
I will save you from the lies
Just come to embrace you
To remember to beat of your heart

The blind walls between us
The distance between us
I hear your screaming inside of your heart
You are not alone My Lady In Black
The blind walls between us
The distance between us
The lost dreams between us
I have felt your loneliness under your love

They say I should leave all our memories behind the past
But how can I hide my emptiness?
No one can hold me from your side, my dear
Sweet words you have whispered to me are written in my heart

My sis, hear my sorrow I am singing now
My sis, see my tears how Im choking in them
My sis, feel my love for you I will give you now
All these words you read it, are written in his poem
Dont shad any tears for them
They are just words nothing less
Words are just for weakness for us
Only our love is more then words

Pool of Loneliness

Author: Jyoti Srikureja

Poem: Pool of Loneliness

Silence filled the air while I was sitting alone.
Staring out the window,
The phone in my hand,
I’m thinking of calling her once again.

Below the window,
The sound of the playground,
Have now disappeared.
The splashes of the pool,
Have now vanished
As rapidly as my memories flashed
Of my cherished childhood days.

I remember it, like it was yesterday
When it used to be just my cousin and me,
Hand in hand and side by side,
Beside me, was where she always stood.
Through enjoyable times of smiles and laughter
And miserable times of distress and tears,
A helping hand was always lent
For a strong bond that was said to never mend.
Long lasting late night phone calls,
Sharing the deepest and darkest secrets.

Those wonderful days now seem so far away.
Washed over by the pool of loneliness,
There I was left to swim alone,
Drowning in the obstacles all on my own.
Outside, the cloud darkens,
The thunder roars, and
The rain pours hard against my window.
Fighting back tears every night,
Thinking about her leaving on that flight.
Life became difficult without her by my side.
And how I wish she would be back here tonight.

Without her, the trouble doubles,
The beam and laughter lessens,
The noise and chatter decreases,
The dreams and hope fades away
And it all turns dark and gray,
Making it hard to perceive
The life that I must now lead.

She was my sister, my cousin, my best friend.
My laughter, my joy, that would never end,
Today, though she may not be with all of us together,
The memories of our childhood will last forever.
