Opening Season 2004

Poem:
Opening Season 2004

The 2003 season for the Red Sox
will be one thats hard to beat,
they gave Bostons rival their best ride yet
and redefined the word compete.

They made them fight in the playoffs
all the way to game seven,
and i truly believe that they would play them all
if the series was best out of eleven.

So, move over Yanks
Bostons raising our ranks
and we have shown that we are willing,
by picking up our second pitching ace
and in that we do mean schilling.

Oh No! you countered the move by getting Arod
as if we were supposed to choke,
but instead we did what comes natural
and picked up our close Keith Foulke.

So how about it Bronx Bombers
ya wanna play some ball with the BeanTown bats,
that are thriving to take it all
and looking to raise our stats.

Oct 11th 2003 ALCS

Author: Robert Miller

Poem: Oct 11th 2003 ALCS

Just play the game
we want a winner,
who cares about the rolling Zimmer.
So what!
Pedro hit someone,
does that really mean
we have to have less fun.
Pedro protected himself
from the charging senior,
but we all know
thats not Pedros demeanor.
But it's just like the Yankees
to go and retaliate,
because they know that the World Series
is in the Red Sox fate.
So all feelings asside
lets just play ball,
So the Red Sox can come
and take it all.
