His Timely Hits

Author: Robert Miller

Poem:
His Timely Hits

  The feeling was electric
thats what i found,
when he stepped to the plate
and i heard the cheers sound.
He was always incredible
with his big bat of power,
and once again here he is
the man of the hour.
It was the ninth, they were losing
the score was five to three,
two out,two men on
and who better at the plate to see.
First two pitches were strikes
now the count was three and two,
thats when we all stood
to see what the slugger could do.
He did just as expected
he hit it out for the walk off win
I can't believe how he does this
over and over again.

I Don't Know Why

Author: Tajay Hoppines

Poem: I Don't Know Why

Soccer is my favorite sport,
even though I don't know why.
I like to dribble up and down the field, though I don't know why.
I like to pass the ball,
though I don't know why.
I like to shoot the ball,
though I don't know why.
Soccer is my favorite sport,
so who cares why.
I just love the stupid sport!
