CHESS

Author: Sagar Mehta

Poem:
CHESS

Who says chess is not a game?
Athletics for brain!
If you think it isn't hard,
Allow me to explain.

Now any fool can throw a ball,
Monkey can learn to play basketball.
But playing chess is something else,
you have to concentrate.

The tactics are quite complex,
And that's my favourite part.
You really can't be brilliant at chess,
Unless you are very smart and sharp.

And struggling with your potential battle,
Like a furious battle between,
German and Russian dart,
You can't hesitate,
In this fierce battle,
Of capture, check and mate.

I know I am not a good
Brain fighter yet,
I am sure I will improve
As soon as I work out how
Those comical and funny pieces move.

JUST DO IT

Author: Cody Norton

Poem: JUST DO IT

People say “Oh, I hate that sport or game, or I don’t like to play
that sport or game.”
Every sport or game has something that they could like if people
would just give it a try.
There are some sayings like “You never know until you try” or “ Let’s
just play and have fun”.
Every game or sport, someone is going to win, and someone is going to
lose.
But it doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it’s how you choose to play.
My saying is “Just DO it”.
