Love is not Money in a pocket Nor is it A picture in a locket
Love is a smell Or a smile on a child Love is a spell That makes the chili pepper mild
It is the peanut butter Spread on the bread It is the neon green light Or even the red
It is the breath from your lips Or light from the bulb It is the sun that will kiss The trees standing tall
It is the sound of the bird That sings right outside It is the words that hide Beneath each of my lines
It is your eyes watching me Walk down the hall It is building a bridge Then watching it fall
Take me away Take me today To love’s playground Where all the lovesick kids play
Where the sand is soft And the sky is high We’ll jump off the swings Then together we’ll fly

WHEN I HEAR THE BUGS SING |
| |
|
|
When I hear a bug sing I think of many things Is it going to sting? Will it leave a ring? I never liked bugs anyway.
