A SUMMER NIGHT (BEAUTIFUL TO SAY THE LEAST)

Author: Jace Hansen

Poem:
A SUMMER NIGHT (BEAUTIFUL TO SAY THE LEAST)

every fresh blade of grass molding to my form every breathe of the night more beautiful than the last losing my heart in those whispered words falling into the stars spooning like the children rhyme under a thin cloth feeling every leaf move under the subtle breeze soft nascent moonlight spilling onto every life of the night staring into an oblivion forgetting all of that only to better understand this lost in the moment hoping to never return closed eyes capturing it all looking down at that smiling to finally know bright lights and fresh scent rising to the new day looking back hoping to remember it all the light reminding me of the night smiling laughing smiling

OCEAN ENCHANTMENT

Author: Wai Hung

Poem: OCEAN ENCHANTMENT

Tranquil and delicate, floating at ease
Sparkling, illuminated by the brilliant sunshine
Sprinkled glitter flickering like dancing fairies

It's mere presence so divine
Flowing tenderly as the breeze passes by
Perfect, resembling all planets aligned

Soaring over sand as if it could fly
Waves crashing over like an untamed beast
Just almost able to touch the clear sky

Underwater, all creatures cease
Stopping in their paths, they knew
To savor the splendid view, at least

Full of majestic hues of deep true blue
Lucid water swaying side to side
Steadily swirling through and through

Above, the surface serenely glides
Every spirit delights in this gift from creation
No longer will its magnificence hide

So it is here in this simple meditation
The exquisite blue is greatly praised
With hopes to keep it eternally in salvation
