Author: Nikolai Novomlinski

Poem:
DON'T CRY ABOUT CONDOLENCES, ABOUT SOOTHNESS

Dont cry about condolences, about soothness,
Being are vast
Done spring through looming f cities
By songs, by pangs of harmonies pic centuries inside blinks
Thought winkles traveled hovering

Afternoon Delight

Author: Joyce Balentine

Poem: Afternoon Delight

Sitting in the shade of the gazebo, she
lays her book aside and lingers in the
beauty of the late afternoon.
Delicate wisteria blooms, tipped with
amethyst, fading to pale lilac, domintate
the English style garden.
Tendrils of ivy, climb toward the heavens,
winding tightly around white, deeply
carved columns.
Southerly winds, have left a trail of pink
rose petals, scattered across the slate
stones, of the pathway.
Fragranced by the rain, the air is thick and
heavy. This moment in time, will become
a treasured memeory.
