My thoughts

Author: Ashley Fitzgerald

Poem:
My thoughts

I am Fearless, strong and fifteen.
Nobody can or will defeat me,
but when you hear my cries.
Probably think these words are lies.

My life has made me, Ashley.
My fears have made me strong.
My mistakes have made me think deep.
My successes will make me belong.

My tears have got me nowhere.
My thoughts have made me smarter.
My experiences have made me wiser.
These years have made me older.

My head is filled with thoughts.
My thoughts are filled with meanings.
My backyard is filled with crops.
My house is filled with human beings.

Above the city there is a mountain.
Above the mountain there is a heaven.
In this mountain there are people.
In this heaven there are angels.

My past hasn't been the greatest.
My heart hasn't been the strongest.
But my greatest and only wish,
is for everyone to see how much I accomplish.

MY DILEMMA

Author: Rashmi Singh

Poem: MY DILEMMA

I want to confess, all my doubts,
For I can’t understand, the ins and outs.
I hardly can get what’s all about,
Why one is too thin and other so stout?

Why daddy treats me as a child,
I am no more hot and wild.
Why mummy smiled and said,
Still my life’s not neatly piled.

But at the school, teachers say
I am big and smart today,
I’m grown and mature they say,
And will be successful some day.

Why my friends force me to bunk,
I know I am not a junk,
But still yearn to follow their commands,
And try to fulfill their demands.

Why all around me try to
Burden me with works to do
Keep expectations in large,
To fulfill all and not few.

I want to know who really am I,
Is my life to laugh or cry?
Or life simply to be a shy guy,
I want to sore up high and high.

Someone can come and understand me,
Unburden my loads, make me free,
Like the bird in the sky,
Fly up and up fly, fly, and fly.
