UNTITLED

Author: Cassie Ostrowski

Poem:
UNTITLED

She said she’ll quit for awhile
Oh but she’ll never go to far
She’s on the road to somewhere
And she’s not driving the car
She’ll search for love until she finds it
And than she’ll turn it away
All she needs is a guy to challenge her
And fight for the right to stay

She’s the kind of girl you wish you were
Rocking hoodies and tight jeans
She can party like a rock star
And she could pass for eighteen
She’s got a cigarette in her hand
Though she gave it up some time ago
She’s friends with everybody yeah
She’ll be the first to say hello

Her motto is leave before you’re left
And keep your friends by your side
Party while you’re still young
And don’t believe in every lie
She believes everything happens for a reason
And not to regret what you did before
If life closes the front door of possibilities
You better look for that back door

She’s the kind of girl you wish you had
Yeah the one to call your own
She’s not looking for a fancy restaurant
She just want to get high back at your home

She swears she’ll die before she’s 45
With Tom Petty playing in the back
She knows there’s more to life
Than what hers’ seems to lacks

She’s just the girl next door that
You simply can’t personalize
Daddy’s little angel and a bad ass in disguise
She’s the kind of girl you’re glad to know
The one who is always there for you
She doesn’t know the right words to say
But she’ll always help you through

LOVE IS LOVE

Author: Stephanie Campbell

Poem: LOVE IS LOVE

Love is Love

Love is like a winged dove,

Dancing in the sun.

Love is like the rain at night,

Chasing away your nightmares.

Love is like a turkey on Thanksgiving;

You want more and more,

Until your body threatens to burst.

Love is like a butterfly’s wings;

So soft,

So gentle,

But strong enough to make you soar.

Love is like a glass of hot chocolate on a cold night,

Caressing your shivering body.

Love is like medication when you’re ill;

It chases away the pain,

But it’s painful to do without.

Love is like a war,

It can shatter your world.

Love is like peace,

It can cleanse your soul.

Love is like a drug,

It’s addicting.

Love is Love.
