A GIRL NAMED ADDA BOBADA

Author: Alex Hahn

Poem:
A GIRL NAMED ADDA BOBADA

There is a girl who's name is Adda Bobada,
Who’s just as pretty as Cascada,
And she always prances,
In every school dances,
And each day after the school bell rings,
She always sings,
On what's on her bike radio,
Or on her home stereo,
And everytime she washes dishes,
She makes alot of wishes,
Like becoming a superstar,
Or driving a super hot car,
She used to live in Jamaica,
But now she lives,
In a state called California,
And that was where she met Madonna,
And got a sweet record deal,
With Olivia Vana,
And now she's famous,
And accomplished all her wishes.
Which was becoming a superstar,
And driving a super hot car,
So now you Adda Bobada.

UNFRUITFUL FREEDOM

Author: Olumide Owomoyela

Poem: UNFRUITFUL FREEDOM

I'm now full and plum
Ripe to see with my eyes
I know what it feels
To live a lovely life!

My son, this is the way of a teen
Foolishly thinking he's acting wisely
Longing for the fruit that kills
Even the bravest of all men

No! i know the way
Never to keep astray
I'll never live your kind of life
So unrealistic and old-fashioned

The lenght of my days you can not count
The years of my life is to you a mystery
But if you so much will
Remember you'll pay the bill

So my silly son sighed
And went without watching
Wrecking in unfruitful wit
Been a teen is so trickish
