OUR ANGEL

Author: Craig Poland

Poem:
OUR ANGEL

  Our grandmother was an angel,
Sent to us by God,
Put here to watch over us,
Over all those that she loved.

Her words of wisdom will always be there,
To help us thru this life,
We'll always remember her gentle touch,
That comforted us thru strife.

She taught us how to live and love,
She taught us how to care,
She taught us when we're feeling down,
To talk to Jesus, He'll be there.

She filled our lives with peace and joy,
She loved to see us smile,
When it came to her family's happiness,
She'd always go the extra mile.

She set such a beautiful example,
To all of those around her,
An example of Jesus Christ,
The one she lived her life for.

She did God's work with a willing heart,
She did it so unselfishly,
That God decided to take His Angel,
To live with Him eternally.

She ran to Him with open arms,
He held her close to Him,
Peace and comfort surrounded her,
Joy flowed from within.

He held her hand and smiled,
As she gazed upon the Lord,
He said your work on earth is done,
And great is your reward.

She's looking down on us right now,
Saying wipe those tears away,
I don't want you feeling sad for me,
I'm home, with my heavenly father today!

The Prince of Peace

Author: Zelder Winter

Poem: The Prince of Peace

Where is God's Hand?
He see violence in the land
He knows there will be no peace
Prayer without power means defeat
We have need of THE PRINCE OF PEACE
A nation without God is like the spirit without a body dead
Innocent blood every second spilled upon our land
shed
Our foundation once stood firm in equality in God
we trust
Let us return our hearts back to THE PRINCE OF PEACE we must
Violence within our land need to stop our nation has had enough
Our fore-fathers standards once stood firm that was set apart
Our inhabitation we destroy was once dedicate to our God
Our soul should hunger, thirst with eagerness to receive
His Holy Spirit by faith in our hearts a choice if we believe
We can escape violence it's not impossible our hope comes from above
Unity can strengthen our nation on one accord in power in love
God is THE PRINCE OF PEACE that all nation should adore
Time is a master in every season
Voilence in this nation is for a reason
Our nation has turn a way from God a deaf ear to obey truth
We respect wrong don't love right blind with greed a nation too loose
This violence in our nation will not stop America who can resolve?
THE PRINCE OF PEACE OUR SAVIOR THE MOST HIGH GOD!
