Seeing people in the disaster, all in one,
The next minute they're all gone.
They held on for as long as they could,
Whilst others stood there, disturbed in the mud.
It's hard to take in that so many people are dying,
And young children are left with no mother, crying.
Somehow we as a team will try to think about them suffering out there,
And how we can send our love and care.
Victims who have lost there mums, dads, sisters and brothers,
Are all working together to help others.
The search will go on for weeks. Seeing people look through the rubble and to see their faces droop to see what they have found.
Many injured people can be made able again with your help of a pound.
People wonder if there will ever be an end to this day,
Terrifying, and unearthly, is what most people will say.
They have no food or drink,
And this is the disaster which has made people think.
Everything has been destroyed, even their home,
Which was no fault of their own.
Bodies laid scattered on the ground,
Whilst others investigate what they have found.
Children and adults try to hold back their fears,
But many people look for their family with streaming tears.
We all wish this were just a nightmare,
but then we awake, and wonder why life is never fair.
