I WISH YOU COULD HAVE KNOWN MOLLY
|

I wish you could have known Molly, You’d have loved her, just as I did. Her little smiling face, beaming at me And tufts of red hair protruding in a blaze From a’neath her mop cap.
Sweet dear Molly, rising at six And taking my very breath away As dawn breaks and we gazed together From yon window and misty haze; Molly’s love was always, on tap.
Oh how I wish you could have known Molly. But Molly has gone now and rested Upon the clouds with angels as her feet Music so sweet, just as Molly would love As we did at the piano, her on my lap
And our fingers entwined as we played the ivory keys Together. Oh our tune, Molly, Molly sweet Molly, MY sweet Molly. And miss her I do, The rush of morning as she would rove The house and the tickle of the rose upon the gap
My unbuttoned night shirt left my chest bared And she would kiss my cheek and run Away, playful and giggling, her splendour In then morning sun was a miracle from above To me; I wish you could have known Molly as I had…
Do I miss sweet Molly? Every single day passes There is not a thought in mind
Or a tear welled upin my eye When I think of sweet Molly’s laughter That lit up my day to dusk from dawn.
Oh I wish you could have known Molly. You would have fallen in love with her, You could not help yourself, her beauty And exquisite common nature That commandeered your sense from whence she was born
Into this world that held so much hate And bitterness but strived for a peace No-one could assume nor find, Not till Molly thrust herself upon life, Upon MY life and secured each of my senses
With her childish laughter; that grin Helen of Troy could not match If she lived a thousand years And a thousand years after… Molly was my whole existence, lifetime And I miss her so now that the fences
In badly need of maintenance, still Painted the red that Molly dressed it as To match her hair that I held close to me So that Molly could be close to my heart And I could drown in her love for me
That she showed so apparent, and I Gave her my all, my life was hers To do with how she pleased,
But she’d laugh and tell me we’d never part And that I would drown in her love for me…
I wish you could have known Molly And the blaze of red hair from a’neath her cap; The giggles and girlish laughter But Molly has gone away and the flowers I bring I bring so that I may drown in her love for me, The tiny headstone just reads “Here lies Molly, A happy person who had a smile for all And for her family who miss her so.. . “ Here laid my Molly, sweet, sweet Molly I wish you have known Molly You'd have loved her and She’d have loved you
"taken by God to play with angels and lie at His feet. Child of grace aged 5 years and 7 months"
I wish you had known my Molly, My sweet, sweet Molly. You may have also drowned in her love For me

BROTHERS, AN ARMY OF ONE |
| |
|
|
Together we are brothers who stand tall Face any problem, big or small. Together fighting for our country in which we live We do our best and give all that we can give. Together we live and together we may die And ever so often together we cry. Together brother we will fight until the battle is won. Together we brothers create this Army of one. Dedicated to Christopher Lewis Osborne And all of the other men and women out there putting their lives on the line so the we can live peacefully. Thank You!
