Two Poems from our Valentines Day Poetry Collection

A THOUSAND WORDS TO TELL YOU

Author: little kid

Poem:
A THOUSAND WORDS TO TELL YOU

A thousand words I wanted to tell you,
A thousand things I wanted to do,
A thousand smiles you put on my face
In more than a thousand ways.

A thousand kisses and hugs I send,
A thousand days with you I want to spend,
A thousand times I’ve dreamed of you,
and a thousand of those dreams came true.

A thousand laughs we had shared,
A thousand adventures together we had dared,
A thousand days we spent together,
And a thousand goodbyes we gave each other.

A thousand memories still remain,
A thousand times my heart ached in pain.
A thousand times I wished you were here,
and a thousand times I cried a thousand tears.

Oh, how I wish I had said those thousand things,
Oh, how I wish I could fly to you with a thousand wings.
Oh, how I hope you could stay another a thousand days,
Oh, how I love you in more than a thousand ways.

THE KISS I WILL NEVER FORGET

Author: Nicholas Oifoh

Poem: THE KISS I WILL NEVER FORGET

When I first met her
A special feeling came to me
It felt like I was flying
Without her I would be nothing
I never wanted us to be separated

When she told me that she was moving
My heart was broken into many pieces
I wondered how would remember her
Then she came and gave me a kiss
That was the kiss that I would never forget
